Fresh Salsa Recipe

This is a very quick, easy, and refreshing salsa recipe.  Make this salsa recipe ahead of time and refrigerate or eat it freshly made.  It makes for a great and healthy snack when used as a dip with tortilla chips. It is also a great complement to most Mexican recipes.

Combine the Following Fresh Ingredients:

12 Roma Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 medium yellow or white onion, finely chopped
1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped (use leaves only, not stems)
1 or more jalapeno peppers, finely chopped (for milder sauce use fewer jalapenos and remove some or all of the seeds before adding to mixture)
Salt to taste
Juice from one freshly squeezed lime

Combine and stir.  Serve with tortilla chips.  This is a great fresh salsa recipe that can be refrigerated and enjoyed again later.

Bonus Salsa Dip Recipe

For a delicious change of pace, add 1 8 oz package of cream cheese to about ½ cup of fresh salsa recipe above and cream together.  Serve with tortilla chips.
